Psychiatric Care

You've Been Managing. But Managing Isn't the Same as Feeling Better.

There’s a difference between pushing through and actually feeling okay. If you’ve been doing the first one for a while, and the weight isn’t lifting the way it used to, you don’t have to keep figuring this out alone. Psychiatric care is a real, practical option, and it’s more accessible than most people expect.

Does This Sound Familiar?

  • You wake up tired even after a full night of sleep.
  • Anxiety or low mood has become your baseline, not a phase you’re moving through.
  • Your relationships, your work, or your ability to enjoy things has quietly changed.
  • You’ve tried to manage this on your own, and it’s not enough.

What Becomes Possible

Getting the right support doesn’t mean your life becomes problem-free. What it does mean is that your symptoms stop running the show.

You start sleeping more reliably. Your thoughts have more room in them. The things that matter to you feel reachable again.

That’s the realistic goal, and it’s worth working toward.

A Plan That's Actually Built Around You

Your first appointment is a full 45-minute evaluation covering your mental health history, current symptoms, medical background, and your own goals.

You leave that session with a diagnosis and a clear treatment plan, not a vague next step.

Follow-up sessions are typically weekly. If medication is part of your plan, you’ll know exactly what it does, why it’s being recommended, and what to expect as you adjust.

If therapy fits your goals too, CBT-informed approaches can be woven into your sessions. Research consistently shows that combined treatment produces stronger outcomes than either approach on its own.

Flexible Care, Without the Barriers

Sessions are available via telehealth, so you can access care from anywhere in Utah without rearranging your schedule.

Sliding scale pricing is available based on income, and a free 15-minute phone consultation is offered before your first booking so you can make sure this feels like the right fit.

Who This Is For

Adults between 18 and 64 dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, or related concerns who are open to exploring whether psychiatric support could help.

People who have faced barriers to care before, whether financial, cultural, or logistical, are especially welcome here. Services are available in English and Mongolian.

This is not the right fit for someone in active crisis. If you need immediate support, please contact the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline by calling or texting 988.

FAQs

No. The first appointment is a conversation, not a prescription. You’ll talk through what you’re experiencing and what your goals are. If medication makes sense, you’ll know exactly why before anything is recommended.

It can be. A full psychiatric evaluation sometimes surfaces things that talk therapy alone doesn’t address, including whether a biological component is contributing to what you’re experiencing. If therapy wasn’t enough before, that’s worth exploring.

That depends on your diagnosis, your response, and your goals. Some people use medication for a defined period. Others find longer-term management is the right fit. You’ll be part of that decision at every stage.

Yes. Telehealth psychiatric care produces outcomes comparable to in-person care for most conditions, and the added convenience makes it easier to stay consistent, which matters more than the format.
